Reception on the occasion of the Feast of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H: a fraternal meeting embodying the spirit of cohesion between the Algerian community and the Consulate General

In a familiar and fraternal atmosphere, the Consulate General organised a reception today, Saturday 5 April 2025, on the occasion of the Feast of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H in honour of the members of the Algerian community living in southern Italy. The meeting was marked by the exchange of good wishes with the Consul General, Mr. Chaouki CHEMMAM, and members of the consular staff.

During this happy occasion, the Consul General delivered a welcome speech, renewing his sincere good wishes to all members of the Algerian community and, through them, to all the Algerian people wherever they may be. He also offered symbolic gifts to the children present, who were given a dedicated space to enjoy the festive atmosphere.

This meeting, marked by a cordial and mutual dialogue, represented a further opportunity to strengthen the ties and closeness between the community and the Consulate General. Those present expressed their love and loyalty to the motherland, and expressed sincere wishes for further progress and prosperity. They also extended their best wishes to the Algerian people, invoking God that this blessed occasion may be repeated upon them with health and well-being, and that peace and stability may reign in dear Algeria.
