Information regarding voluntary enrolment of members of the national community abroad in the national pension system

The Consulate General informs all members of the Algerian community residing in its consular district that the National Social Security Fund for Employees, as part of a simplified procedure for voluntary membership of the national pension scheme, has launched an electronic payment service for social security contributions via the international “VISA” card.

This measure aims to guarantee optimal social protection and coverage for members of our community and to ensure a pension income for those who wish to voluntarily join the national pension system. Registration can be done via the digital platform available at the following link:

As a reminder, this measure is part of the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at ensuring social coverage for the national community abroad by the State, and in application of the provisions of Executive Decree No. 22-351 of 18 October 2022, which defines the conditions and procedures for voluntary membership of the national pension scheme for members of the national community abroad who are engaged in professional activities outside the national territory, as well as their rights and obligations.

It should be noted that this decree allows the persons concerned to acquire pension rights in Algeria and to benefit from social security coverage and benefits in kind under health and maternity insurance.
