FAMILY RECORD BOOK

The family record book is issued by the presentation of the following documents :

For both Algerian spouses:

• Full copy of marriage certificate less than 03 months old
• Birth certificate (full copy) less than 3 months old for both spouses
• Spouse's consular card

For Algerian husband, foreign wife:

• Full copy of marriage certificate
• Spouse's birth certificate (full copy) less than 3 months old or copy of Secured birth certificate S-12
• Spouse's consular card
• Copy of wife's identity document

For Foreign husband, Algerian wife:

• Full copy of marriage certificate
• Wife's birth certificate (full copy) less than 3 months old
• Wife's consular card
• Copy of the husband's identity document
• Proof of husband's Muslim faith

Duplicate family record book:

• Declaration of loss, theft or damage
• Algerian identity document (national card or passport)
• Full copy of marriage certificate less than 3 months old
• Copies of the birth certificates of the spouses and children, if applicable
• Stamp duty of €20

Translation of the family record book (Livret de Famille) issued in Algeria into Arabic:

• Original family record book
• Marriage certificate less than 3 months old
• Stamp duty of 20 euros
