MARRIAGE CLERANCE (NULLA OSTA)

Certificate of marriage clearance :

 A consular certificate given to the Algerian citizen who wishes to marry in the Italian municipality.

At least one party (husband or wife) must be a resident of the consular district of Naples (Southern Italy).

Interested parties must submit the following documents, as appropriate

Documents for the Algerian citizen :

•  Full copy of the birth certificate of the interested party, less than 3 months old, issued by the Algerian municipality;
•  certificate of non-marriage or non-new marriage of less than 03 months, issued by the Algerian municipality or our services, in the presence of two adult witnesses registered at the General Consulate.
•  Original passport or a valid national identity card.

Documents for Algerian citizen :

•   Full copy of the relevant birth certificate less than 03 months old issued by the Algerian municipality;
•   Certificate of non-marriage or non-new marriage less than 03 months, issued by the Algerian municipality or by our services, in the presence of two adult witnesses registered at the General Consulate.
• Parental marriage authorization approved by the municipality.
• Valid passport or national identity card;
•  certificate of conversion to Islam for the future husband.

Documents for Italian citizens :

•   Full copy of birth certificate (full copy of birth certificate with paternity and maternity);
•  Certificate of non-marriage (free state);
•  Italian identity card.

Documents for foreigners (non-Italian) :

•  Certificate of clearance for marriage issued by the embassy or consulate to which they belong or certificate of non-marriage (Free State)
•   Full copy of original birth certificate.
•   copy of passport
• Documents must be translated into Italian by a sworn translator
