Request or renewal of deferment

National service is an obligation for all Algerians aged nineteen (19) and older.

To apply for deferment of national service

- Birth certificate in Arabic (act transcribed at the Consulate for persons born abroad)

- Valid Italian residence permit or Italian identity card/passport.

- Consular registration card (compulsory at the age of 19).

- School enrolment certificate (original) for the current year or apprenticeship certificate

- Two (02) regular and recent passport photos

- For the renewal of the request for national service referral:

-Old card or certificate of suspension of military service.

- Birth certificate in Arabic (transcribed at the consulate for persons born abroad)

- Residence permit or valid Italian identity card/passport.

- Consular registration card (compulsory at the age of 19).

- School enrolment certificate (original) for the current year or apprenticeship certificate

- Two (02) regular and recent passport photos.
